Educational movie project
The purpose of the project was to make a movie about the process of mitosis, meiosis and genetic mutation. This video was to educate the people about the processes in the body that make us different from each other and make our cells reproduce.
I, personally, think I did a great job of filming and documenting all of the events that took place in the movie making process. I was the main filmer every day for two weeks and used my own video camera. As a class, our video was okay. It is about half way done right now. I think our video supplied enough education in our video to fulfill the requirements.
I took a lot of good camera shots and I made the film look good with my fancy camera.
Henry did well editing and the people that did the script did a good job. Overall, I think that with more time our video would be done and be beautiful work.
A challenge i experienced was the fact that other people were telling me how to do my job even though i had previous experience on cinematography. A challenging problem that we faced as a whole class is that we did not have enough time to finish the movie, also some people did not do the jobs they were assigned. These problems would easily be solved if we had more time at our disposal.
The process we took to make the groups communicate was to have a meeting every day at the beginning of class. I was the leader of the filming group, but i was the only filmer so i did all the filming. I would change nothing about how we as a team collaborated, noir how the project was produced, however i wish we had more time to make beautiful work.
